It's been a long time since I have written a "Personal Note" to all of you, my friends, fans, family and followers. Time has definitely gotten away from me while I have been ill. However, this is the perfect time for me to write this letter. Yes, that is right. I said letter. Not a post. Today I am writing a letter to all of you because I've been spending so much time thinking about you. It just doesn't sound right calling it a "Post" today.
It's that time of year where there is hustle and bustle but lots of love and gratitude in the air. Or NOT! Some find this time of year extremely stressful. I hope if you are reading this and you are one of those people, you will take a minute to just sit back, take a deep breath, close your eyes and think about the things that you enjoy and are thankful for. Nothing more at that moment. Just let that stress go away for as long as you can.
Usually this time of year, I spend getting a list made for holiday cards. I get my daughters school pictures ready to be included in them. I can't wait to show you all my little mini me's photo's. I love her so much. She truly is a blessing. She was a real challenge getting here and she was worth every single minute and difficult time I endured. I think we all have those kinds of stories. They are the ones that make us look back and appreciate the gifts we now have. My little "Red" as I now call her as she just got her hair colored the most favorite tween color out there (It's a fad and it will wash or grow away). I'll show you that pic too.
I like to spend this season with family and friends like you. I almost always take some time to sit down and start thinking about what kind of fantastic things I can start making plans and goals for in the upcoming year (I know its a bit early and it sounds OCD, but this is me writing this remember?).
Usually one thing we do traditionally over this holiday weekend is we do a outing as a family to a movie. This year it's not going to happen but that's alright, we will do two next year. With my boys living out of town, the hubby is working and I am still bed-ridden, it just isn't going to happen. Madison is going to be doing enough celebrating for all the family. This is her BIG YEAR of experiencing a great holiday in the city. She is venturing off with her dad, step-mom and sister to New York City. She's going to be seeing the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade from the streets of New York and then experiencing Black Friday in the Big Apple. I'm not sure I would venture that one, although it has always been a little hidden dream of mine to not just have another home in Florida, but also to have a loft in New York City. Life gives us so many decisions, doesn't it? Joking, but it is so fun to dream, isn't it?
OK, well I am going to close this letter now by saying I wish you all the very best and most wonderful holiday week and season. I really hope you will take that time to enjoy the simple blessings you have been given in your life and choose to live this week stress free and full of happiness. Thank you all for being part of my life. I can't wait to hear from you and would love to hear how you are spending your holiday. What is that you are most thankful for this November? Do you have any traditions you would like to share? I would love to hear them.
Blessings my friends, fans, family and followers and much love.
~Irish~
