What is Happify, you say? It’s an amazing new launch of a program and website that is designed to teach each of those using the program the tools to change the way they think and behave through the use of several tools. We would love to have you join us and take part in this new program. You can sign up at Happify here. Once you become registered at Happify, you will then be invited by Belle of Happify over at Facebook to join their private facebook group. I look forward to seeing you there. Please feel free to follow me there and I will gladly, ok, HAPPILY, follow you back.

I have had so many fantastic opportunities to engage with others and share fun times to get happy together this week. First and foremost it has been with someone very special to me. My gorgeous, amazing step daughter has come home from Washington this week. She came home with something really, really special! She has a bump. That’s right, I said it! This sweet baby girl is all grown up and having a baby of her own. I’m going to be a GRANDMA! I can’t tell you how excited I am about this and that it is just one more miraculous thing to make us grow closer together.
This past week, we spent quality time together during her week she is here. We’ve really done so much this week. She went to the basketball game with her dad. She has been having breakfast at mine and cowboy’s favorite local restaurant, the Wooden Spoon. Last night, she had her cousin over for an old style sleepover. Guess what happened while her cousin was over? The baby gave her a big ole whopping kick for the first time ever. She’d felt the butterfly flutters before but this was the first “whop, whop” kick! Seeing her face light up was super cool!
Today we went to the city and went shopping. We shopped and we shopped and we shopped some more. Little baby boy in her belly now has his crib bedding and lots more. Mama has some needed things for her too. We even found a baby book and shower invitations. It was quiet in the car and finally Laura looks over and says, “We shopped till we dropped” and we laughed.
It’s been a great week talking babies, plans for the future and her thoughts of her upcoming new place and the fun of making it a “home”. I love her and she is going to be a fantastic mother. I am blessed to be able to be a part of little “Damian’s” life. The hubs and I are looking forward to our visit in June when we fly to Washington to meet this little guy. We can’t wait!
What did you do this week for someone else? Meg and I would love to hear about it. We encourage it and please, by all means, head on over and get happy on Happify. I’d love to visit with you there too.
Wishing you all a fantastic week and remember, come on, get happy!
