Hubby and I chose to stay in tonight and just eat a pizza together. Our lives are busy so sometimes just doing "nothing" means "something". We've learned that sharing meals together is a time where we can connect.
Many of you might have heard in this weeks blog hop "Come On, Get Happy" about the puppy we got over the weekend. Little Bear is a family gift that brings happiness and joy to us all. He has brought us lots of laughs and smiles through the week.
This week I worked really hard to make sure that I could do something special for my readers here. I finished up Dedicated 2 Life's monthly "Succeed in Business" Newsletter where I was able to share another module to the $160 eCourse I am offering to my private newsletter members FREE. Because there has been such a large response to this course, I decided to add in the earlier two modules for those that were new signing up so they could utilize the course at their own pace. I also decided because I was in the giving kind of mood to offer my recently published resource guide and my book, "If You Plant a Seed, It Will Grow!" for an additional month in the newsletter at the lowest prices yet. I did this so that my private members receive it first before the public. Don't worry if you aren't a member and are interested in my book, it will be offered out to the public SOON. I also offered two paid job opportunities for those who might be interested in bidding on writing jobs doing reviews. Well, I think you get the picture! I just wanted to really give back so I filled the newsletter this month with massive STUFF. I wanted to cover something for everyone. Plus, I shared something I am planning to do in the near future FREE for my members to help them land opportunities with brands they want to work with.
I wanted to take a moment in tonight's post to share something I discussed earlier today about appreciating things that we have in our lives that are simple and make us happy. Sometimes it's easy to gripe about things that might inconvenience us but sometimes we have to think about the bigger picture to things. Like, for instance, if we go push a button on a vending machine and get the wrong item, we can be bummed for a moment but we should recognize that we are lucky to be able to have a vending machine in a work area at all. A company could take it out and we could go without. It's that simple when it comes to thinking about the little things. Sounds silly, I am sure but many things in life can be taken for granted and we should respect the bigger picture behind it. Almost everything around us today is something we are handed out of opportunity. Appreciate it. Let the small stuff make us happy, not aggravated. You choose that emotion. Why would you want something so small in life such as a pop or a bag of potato chips (yes, I am just using a vending machine as an example) to ruin your mood and wreck your day. Choose to let the little things that could be annoyances go and enjoy life. Life really can be that simple so just come on, get happy.
What did you do this week to get happy? Did you do anything for someone else? We would love to have you share with us and others here today. Just leave a comment below.
