I can't leave without sharing what I did this week to get happy, get inspired and give a shout out on what I did for myself this week. I loved every minute of it. Well, sort of. This past week, I had some events taking place. I also had last weeks launches of the two "Come On, Get Happy" posts all on top of some really long work days.
I recently had an online friend and follower ask me if I was 100% recuperated from my health issues. The answer is no. I have learned to listen to my body. My body said rest this week and so I did. Two days this week my body was screaming for rest so I headed into bed (one night at 6pm even) and put my laptop on my lap and just relaxed and worked until I decided it was enough. Then I turned the computer off and went to sleep. Sounds silly to some, maybe but after the year I had with my health, I have learned I need to take care of myself better.
Did I fall a bit behind work wise? You bet! Not as far behind if I end up ill again though. That's my story, no excuses for being a little behind in work here other than I am taking care of myself.
