I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am to be bringing this month’s Passion’s Segment to you. When Irish asked me to do this I already knew who I was going to give a shout-out too.
Before I go any further, I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Corina Ramos. My friends call me Cori. I’m the owner and blogger of Not Now Mom’s Busy. It’s a website dedicated to moms and women alike. I blog about women’s interest such as health tips, relationship advice, money-saving tips and working from home.
My background was in sales and marketing so the blogging world was totally new to me. My starting a blog was like taking a leap of faith but I was determined to make it work. This meant I had to learn the ropes from other bloggers.
Allow Me To Introduce To You
In the two years I’ve been blogging, I have been very fortunate to have met some awesome women throughout the blogging community. I am about to introduce four special women who exemplify what it means to be a passionate blogger.
Not only do these women have a blog with helpful advice but they are passionate about what they do and why they do it. These ladies will be the first to help you out when you ask for it.
Harleena of Aha!Now is a freelance writer and shares her posts about self-development and enrichment. Her posts are inspiring and motivating at best.
Aside from this it’s the friendly and inviting presence her blog gives when you pay her a visit. What I admire most about Harleena is how she takes time to connect with every person who reaches out to her. She has taught me what it’s like to make a connection with a reader and turn it into a wonderful friendship.
And I’m not the only one. You have to stop by her blog to see how many comments she receives on just one post. And the amazing about Harleena is she takes the time to reply to every one of them.
The latest thing she has for her readers is a series called Share Your Problems in which she and other members of her blogging community offers advice on everything from relationship to blogging problems.
Like I mentioned at the beginning of the post, the blogging world was so new to me. I had followed several bloggers who were blogging about the money they made and what a success they were at blogging, but they never shared how it was done.
I saw a post by Adrienne Smith that was shared on Twitter called Could Your Blog Use A Little Help. Once I started reading it I realized she had the answers I was looking for and put in a way I could understand.
After reading the post I took a look around her blog and found tips like how to put an email marketing campaign together, which plugins we should consider for a blog and other valuable tips.
The welcoming and friendly tone in her replies and how she offers to help isn’t out of character either because it’s all said in her first line on her About Adrienne page “My name is Adrienne Smith and I love helping people.”
What I admire most about Adrienne is she practices what she preaches. She’s not going to give her readers advice she wouldn’t follow herself. Like Harleena, she takes time to connect with her readers. She is a wonderful example of someone who pays it forward by sharing her success and not so successful moments.
Through my connection with Adrienne I met another fabulous lady whose name is what captured my attention at first. Sylviane Nuccio who by the way is the only person with this name, is a freelance writer. Her blog simply called Sylviane Nuccio is full of helpful writing tips and techniques that have helped me improve my writing skills.
But as I continued to get to know Sylviane I soon learned about the passion she has as a life coach at her blog called Understanding Your Subconscious Mind. I was drawn to her desire to help people change a negative mindset into a positive one. And as she shares her personal journey in how she discovered the laws of attraction, she shows her readers exactly what worked for her and passes it down to her readers.
What drew me to Amy Tippins was her site RockScar Designs. Having some scars of my own I had to take a look to see what her blog was about and I’m so glad I did.
My first impression of Amy was this lady is making it her sole mission to help women not only how to accept and love not only physical but emotional scars as well.
And so that we can proudly proclaim that scars are sexy, Amy launched women and men apparel fashion line to inspire passion in our lives. She’s teaming up with stores to feature her line so be looking out for that in your area. In the meantime you can order online like I have!
And she is living proof that good things happen to good people and how hard work truly pays off. RockScar Designs was recently featured at the Roger Neil Fashion & Couture Suite Oscar’s after-party and now celebrities are rocking her designs as well!

Known widely for its National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE and online.rainn.org), it partners with more than 1,100 local rape crisis centers across the country. Also taking advocacy one step further, it now operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense.
I can’t put a price on what these ladies have taught me through my blogging journey. When I put all their advice, suggestions and work ethic together it’s who I am evolving as today.
Harleena and Adrienne showed me how to reach out to people and make new connections. Sylviane showed me how to put what I wanted to say on paper and how to expect positive things for myself. Last and certainly not least, Amy is motivating me as a female entrepreneur by watching her hard work pay off and seeing her dreams come true.
I’d say I’m very lucky to have role models like these ladies.
